About Milliken Medical
Milliken Medical is a privately held, family-owned, national distributor of medical, rehabilitation, and health & wellness products.
We take the time to listen and learn about our customers’ interests and needs, offering advanced technology and distribution solutions that enhance their experience day in and day out. Our organization is well positioned to effectively lead distribution in the connected healthcare space.
Our over 70-year history includes building one of the largest distribution businesses providing medical supplies to chronic disease patients in the U.S. Our ability to do this required expertise in managing SKU intensive, life-sustaining supplies, which were critical to the well-being of the customers we served.
We have built a strong standard of distribution rigor and precision for more than 1,300 manufacturers we represent today through our experience servicing the consumer, professional, and business-to-business markets. Our strategically-nationwide, yet locally-aware approach drives us to be responsive, urgent, transparent, and service oriented.
With four strategically-located distribution centers and growing, we have same-day shipping and the latest cutoff times in the industry.
As a technology-enabled business, we have an agile warehouse technology road map that is annually updated around our systems. We aim to delight our customers every step of the way—building a partnership that lasts.

Haslinger Family Pediatric Palliative Care Center Fund
at Akron Children's Hopsital Foundation
Through a combination of revolutionary treatments and extraordinary patient experiences, Akron Children's Hospital does more than heal. It brings the entire family together for emotional support and understanding. Various patient care programs, family support, research and other needs at Akron Children's Hospital are aided each day from the generous support from the community.
Ben Curtis Family Foundation
The main goal of The Ben Curtis Family Foundation is to help alleviate childhood hunger. Numerous studies have shown that when children go to school on a full stomach, they are able to focus more on what they are learning. Based on this knowledge, the foundation developed the Birdie Bags concept, which contains nine meals and six snacks. The bags are designed to go home with students on each of the 10 long weekends throughout the year. The Foundation relies on as many local resources as possible to obtain the food necessary to fill the bags.
Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank
The Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank was formed in 1982 by a group of community leaders who made a commitment to provide emergency food to our neighbors in need. Today, the Foodbank provides food and other essential items to member hunger-relief programs in eight Northeast Ohio counties: Carroll, Holmes, Medina, Portage, Stark, Summit, Tuscarawas, and Wayne. These member programs operate nearly 500 food pantries, hot meal sites, shelters, and other hunger-relief programs in the neighborhoods and communities where people need food.
About 1 in 9 people in the world don’t have access to clean, safe drinking water. The goal at charity: water is to ensure that they do. Using simple things that work, like freshwater wells, rainwater catchments, and sand filters, this global non-profit is working diligently, smartly, and efficiently to provide safe water to the 800 million that desperately need it. Because the organization puts 100% of public donations toward projects, all of the money we have donated has been used to build wells in Africa.
Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital Foundation
Milliken Medical is proud to support Ride the Rainbow, the signature biennial event of Rainbow Babies & Children's Foundation. This spectacular gala provides funding that drives innovative programs for children and families, enhances advocacy outreach, and attracts the best pediatric medical talent. It also spreads a sense of joy and love to patients and their families.
